LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

AnnaGrace Baldwin was nominated by the Alabama School Counselor Association.

Mrs. Baldwin makes a positive impact on student achievement and well-being through the Peer Helpers program she has developed at Homewood Middle School. She puts a great deal of thought, time, and effort into the selection and training of the middle school peer helpers. With Mrs. Baldwin's guidance, these students mentor elementary school students, tutor sixth grade students through a homework club, teach suicide prevention to their peers, feed the homeless, and much more. This program benefits both the peer helpers themselves, as well as all students across the district.
