I had the pleasure of working with Amy when I was teaching Kindergarten. She truly cares about her students and follows up with their progress. She was always there when I needed her support and the children love her, as well.

Amy goes above and beyond to help out teachers, parents, and most importantly her students. She has made such a positive impact on our school. Our students are so blessed to have her to support them and guide them in the right direction. The students are her number one priority.

Amy Arceneaux is without a doubt a LIFE CHANGER! Amy has gone above & beyond to help our son transition into school. Our son arrived at her school with a medical diagnosis, a learning disability & really high anxiety. I definitely appreciate her proactive approach. She doesn’t want to risk a bad outcome with a wait & see attitude. When moving to Milton Elem, Amy made sure to get all of my son’s records from his previous school including resources he was receiving, set up medical training, talked with both his previous school counselor as well as his current mental health counselor, & set up testing & a tour all before the start of school. She could have waited to see how he would transition, but instead she took a kid with a history of poor transitions and gave him the best start she could. Amy’s ability to be present in the moment & her genuine care for her students is absolutely the best. As a parent, I feel as though she is available should any need come up. I send my child to school daily with confidence knowing that if he needed anything while at school that he would ask for Amy and without a doubt she would be there for him.

When our son was new to the school in 2nd grade, I called Ms. Amy Arceneaux after about a week and asked her to please check on him and make sure he was adjusting okay - he has ADHD and can have difficulty adjusting to new routines and places. Much to my surprise, she went and got him the next day, introduced herself, and took him on a tour of the whole campus. She checked on him periodically after that just to make sure he was thriving in his new school. I was shocked that she took the time to individually address my concern - Milton is a large school with 6 sections of most grade levels. Her kindness and genuine concern made a real impression on me.
