LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Jenny Nicely was nominated by the Ohio School Counselor Association.

Ms. Nicely was named the Ohio School Counselor of the Year. She exhibits many characteristics that make her such a strong, highly effective school counselor. She is highly organized and is well-respected by school staff for her consistent, timely communication on all relevant matters, a necessity in a building of close to 1300 students. When staff approach Ms. Nicely with a student concern, they know she will respond immediately to meet the students' needs. She is a knowledgeable, collaborative member of the administrative office team, providing thoughtful guidance and insight on developing a positive school culture and other problem-solving strategies.
