LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Eileen Guinon has been a music teacher for over 20 years, teaching both public school and private lessons. She has taught thousands of students ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade in general music and choir. Many of her students have gone on to become productive citizens and join choir, band, theatre arts, and tennis.

After the last 12 years in Pearland ISD, she is now back in her home school district of Pasadena ISD, where she grew up and studied. Inspired by her own music educators, including Judy Ruof, Paul KirkPatrick, Stephen Bedford, and Sally Schott, she is now at Atkinson Elementary School, where she has come full circle. She has joined the music team with Ms. Freeman to continue a strong legacy of their music program, which has been in effect for 50 years of the school's history. She brings great communication, strong work ethic, and creativity! 

Ms. Guinon has always shown strong leadership abilities in producing many concert performances, school events, and talent shows. She serves as a co-chair of the Social Committee and has always exhibited excellent comments from appraisals, etc.
