Kimberly Rollins was nominated by the Tennessee School Counselor Association.
Ms. Rollins was named the Tennessee School Counselor of the Year. She consistently advocates for the school counseling profession by networking with teachers, students, parents, and other stakeholders to share her vision and its alignment to the ASCA model. She is a constant voice of advocacy for the integral part that the ASCA model plays on maintaining an effective school counseling program. Ms. Rollins regularly shares her vision, as well as the positive impact a strong counselor and parent connection can have on the overall well-being of students. She shares information regarding the role school counselors play in the school, as well as the community, and the impact that support for school counselors and school counseling programs can have on the overall outcome of student achievement.
