Erin Sprinkle was nominated by her colleague, Teshia Dula.
Ms. Sprinkle is new to Hull Middle School, but she is not new to school counseling. She has been in education for over 16 years and has made a difference in the lives of children. She has a positive, nurturing, and lively personality that adds to her school's atmosphere. Ms. Sprinkle adheres to high moral and ethical standards, and her name suits her well! She leaves a positive “Sprinkle” wherever she goes! She is a servant leader in her school, and she has an excellent record of performance. Ms. Sprinkle continues to provide developmentally appropriate and comprehensive counseling services to students, even in the midst of this pandemic.
In addition to performing her job at an exemplary level, Ms. Sprinkle demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to her school community, as well as to important stakeholders. Ms. Sprinkle provides exceptional support and service to students and staff. She quickly discerns individual needs and moves efficiently to provide support. During this unprecedented time of COVID-19, she has found resources for families and helped support the collection of food and clothes for children in need. In addition, Ms. Sprinkle is a community leader for the CF Foundation. She is often asked to speak about her challenges with her son and the need for fundraising and research.
Ms. Sprinkle is the kind of person who takes the time to make all students feel special. She epitomizes servant leadership. She is creative, helpful, caring, resourceful, and happy.
"Personally, I have known Erin for 16 years, and we have worked on committees outside of school," said Dula. "I have always admired her counseling style, creative ability, and upbeat attitude. Erin has made a difference at Hull Middle School. She has positively influenced the people in our school and community.
