Bojan Jovanovic was nominated by his superintendent, Jeff Hendrix.
Mr. Jovanovic has a caring heart for children. His sole passion is to help every child succeed. He is an extremely intelligent and hard-working administrator who looks out for the welfare of all students who pass through the WWMS hallways. He worked with a team of staff and students to create a new support group at WWMS that pairs eighth grade student-leaders with new students to mentor them throughout the school year.
Mr. Jovanovic is also the leader and facilitator for a group that focuses on helping minority students find social, emotional, and academic success in school. He works diligently to find ways to help minority students connect with their teachers and foster positive relationships. Even though the district is focused on improving the academic performance of minority students, Mr. Jovanovic makes an extra effort to ensure that all students at WWMS are succeeding.
