During this pandemic, Ms. Sims has shown such compassion and patience for her students. Every day, she calls the parents of any student that goes to her office. She genuinely cares for Arbor Springs' students, and her community couldn't be more proud of her.
I worked with Nurse Rebecca for many years. She is the most compassionate, caring, knowledgeable nurse and friend you could ask for. No matter what challenge was thrown her way by students or staff, she handled it. The person receiving her care knew they were in the most capable and caring hands. Love you Nurse Rebecca!
Nurse Rebecca truly loves her job and the students. She goes that extra miles for each and everyone of her babies at Arbor Springs. She is such a Sweet and Wonderful person and it shows every day while at her job.
We have had 4 of our children at Arbor Springs with 2 of them still there. The last 2 years have been extremely challenging but as a fellow nurse I always know our girls are in the best of hands. Our kids LOVE Nurse Rebecca. Her cool, calm and reassuring demeanor is exactly what is needed in such a special environment. When she calls us we never have to second guess and completely trust her clinical competence. She is phenomenal!

Nurse Rebecca Simms is the most compassionate, genuine, and dedicated person I’ve ever met. She cares for each student and staff member like they are members of her family. She celebrates every success and is everyone’s biggest cheerleader. She has a heart of gold and is truly a servant of God. She takes great care of her Arbor Springs Elementary family and serves her local community through her volunteer work. There is no one more deserving of this praise and recognition.
Rebecca has the kindest, most helpful and genuine heart that you will ever find. She’s the kind of person that makes you feel “at home” whenever you are around her. She brightens the day of everyone she comes in contact with. I just love her!
Nurse Rebecca truly has a heart of gold and treats each of her students as her own. When my son was in 4th grade he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and knowing she was there to care for him every day is the only way I was able to let him out of my sight. She is truly an amazing person and so deserving.
Becca is a caring person, always smiling & ready with a kind word. And so super polite! Things that you don't see much anymore but we need more of!
Absolutely an incredible & amazing person!! She is most deserving of this award!!! Nurse Rebecca helps take care of our students, staff, & staff families!!! She addresses physical ailments as well as delivering a healthy dose of nurturing to help with emotional ailments. We can always count on Rebecca to lift someone else up! ??????
My family loves Rebecca. She has shown the utmost kindess and respect towards first my son that was a student at Arbor Springs and now to my daughter that is a student there. My children love her because not only is she so kind with them she is also the epitome of patience. I think most defining trait though, is the level of respect she shows every child and parent there. We have been so fortunate to have the best Nurse ever at Arbor Springs. Thank you so much Rebecca.

Nurse Rebecca is the best! My daughter, who is now in high school, was often in Nurse Rebecca’s office through out her years in elementary school. Ms Rebecca was always so patient and loving and still asks how my daughter is doing every time I see her. Now my son is almost finished with elementary school and has had the same wonderful care given from nurse Rebecca. She loves the students as if they were her own!! Thank you Rebecca!!
This woman is God sent, she is full of love, patience and truly cares for people! I've had 3 go through Arbor springs and my last one is there now. Having a child with special needs I can tell you I NEVER worried about care she needed while at school. She is phenomenal in every thing she does. She truly lives every day as Jesus has called her to do. We LOVE Mrs. Rebecca and forever thankful for her!!!! She's a rock star superhero!!!
Nurse Rebecca is the absolute best! She is so kind and treats my kids with genuine concern and care, from helping my son with his brace for his broken arm to my daughters ant allergy and making sure she stays safe. Thank you, Nurse Rebecca for caring for all our children the way you do!

Rebecca is absolute the best! She is the epitome of an elementary school nurse: She approaches each student with genuine concern and love, and she gets to know every student and family personally. She provides personal care to our students and families. In addition, she gets to know the health needs of our staff, and she is always available to help any of us at any time. During the past two school years, her duties have increased dramatically with absolutely no increase in pay; nevertheless, she has never uttered one word of complaint. Rather, she has taken on the new responsibilities with grace. We are tremendously blessed to have her taking care of all of us!
