LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Shanari Gross was nominated by her principal, Carlos Johnson.

Ms. Gross is a LifeChanger in her school community because she has been very informative and clear with the information that has needed to be conveyed about COVID-19, including the Delta and Lambada variants that still continue to plague students and families in the school community. Ms. Gross is personable and charismatic when it comes to keeping every staff member and student safe and healthy.

On a moment's notice, she will deliver a presentation to staff and parents about the importance of being vaccinated, as well as certain information for keeping student immunizations in the forefront of their education. She is a proven leader who has created two Care Rooms to triage staff and students in their time of need.

Nurse Gross has a caring and nurturing spirit that spills over into the students of her school. She is always available to speak with parents, accept items and medicines for students, and triage student and staff patients if they're feeling ill.

"Nurse Gross's high desire to ensure that our school is well-supplied with the items needed to treat all stakeholders is paramount. She is truly worthy to receive the honor of being a LifeChanger of the Year winner," said Johnson.
