Amber Montoya was nominated by her daughter, Destiny Ramos.

"Amber is my mother, and she has always taken care of people," explains Ramos. "She has been a caregiver in a retirement home, a special needs para, and now, a school health aide. She is lost if she is not caring for someone or something. Amber always tries to make you laugh, especially if you're upset, and she'll try to fix any problem you may have." 

Ms. Montoya is a good advocate for a healthy lifestyle. She's always trying to work out and eat right, and she tries to get those around her to do the same. She always has random facts about nutrition, along with what is good or bad for you and why. Ms. Montoya works really hard at home and at her job just to take care of everyone, and it doesn't go unseen.

I used to be a bus driver for Adams 12...I had Amber as my para on the bus a few times...I remember driving a route that was capable of being very difficult and I dont think to many wanted to drive them ha ha...The kids were really awesome but needed to be worked with...Amber was really good with them and all the kids loved her...I actually miss that group of hellions Lol!!! Amber deserves this award for what she contributes to every kid that comes her way!!!!!!!
