Music that Describes Ashley

Ashley Reynolds was nominated by multiple colleagues.

"Ashley is a LifeChanger! Ashley posesses a calmness that transfers into both her patients and I, as a medication-trained staff member at our school," explains her colleague. "When her students are afraid, she calms them in a matter of moments. If she sees me frazzled, she can have me calm and manageable in no time! She has trained me in a way that makes me feel confident in my ability to help the students at my school."

Ms. Reynolds speaks to the parents with kindness, professionalism, and compassion. Parents do not always like what she is saying, particularly if she is instructing them on how and where to take their child for a COVID test. However, she is able to convey instructions in a way that makes parents understand the need for the task they are being handed. By the end of the conversation, they are thanking her for the concern she shows and her compliance of the situation. If a child is seriously injured, she can calm the student and provide them with relaxation techniques that carry them through the process of waiting for a parent to arrive.

"Ashley's positive outlook and love for her job make all those around her feel comfortable and at ease that she is here for us whenever a need arises. I do not hesitate to ask for her help, and she is always willing to help me with a smile on her face. Ashley is a comfort and a LifeChanger for us all! The day is easier and brighter when she is with us," said her colleague.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ashley for many, many years as a school nurse and as a nurse coordinator. She is very knowledgeable, and always prioritizes the health and safety of the staff and students at her schools. She is also kind and compassionate. She maintains a positive attitude and always has a smile on her face, even though her job has been quite challenging since the pandemic started. She is an excellent candidate for the LifeChanger of the Year Award.
