"Amanda is the best school nurse," said Moghis. "I've never seen her without a smile, even through the pandemic and school closures for hurricanes. She has continuously followed up with me regarding my son's medical issues each year, before I even have to reach out to the school. She gives staff the necessary information to care for my son while keeping anything unecessary confidential. Amanda is 'on the ball.' She is warm and welcoming to the elementary students, which is exactly what they need. We love her, and she has made a big difference in her students' lives."

I have had the pleasure of working with Amanda as a fellow school nurse and nurse coordinator for many, many years. She is dependable, hard-working, and always an advocate for her students. She goes above and beyond to assure that all of her staff and students are safe and healthy. She always has a positive attitude and a smile on her face, even in the most challenging situations. She is an excellent nurse and role model, and an excellent candidate for the LIfeChanger of the Year award.
