Deb Kaufman was nominated by her colleague, Gigi Whalen.
Ms. Kaufman has been a part of the DC Support Center for 20 years. She has made a huge difference in the lives of students who have come through this program. She's wise, kind, and supportive. Everything she does is for the benefit of kids. She wants to help students and their families, and she supports schools in any way possible. Her knowledge and expertise in working with families is so helpful. She is a wonderful teammate who is collaborative, kind, and open to new ideas.
