Michelle is am amazing advocate for my own student with a life-threatening food allergy, as well as all kids at Kokanee Elementary and throughout NSD. She is well organized, responsive and current on all health & safety protocols. Beyond that, she sees each student as a unique individual and works with families and school administration to ensure each student receives what they need to meet their potential. Thank you Michelle!

Ms. Song does a great job. My son started kindergarten in September this year. One day in late September, my son was not feeling well and vomited at school. Ms. Song took good care of him. When I arrived at school to pick up my son, Ms. Song explained to me Covid-19 return to school protocols. Thanks to her hard work, we all feel more comfortable sending our kids to school during this pandemic.

As a parent of a 2nd grader, I am so grateful to have Ms. Song at Kokanee. She always greets our family with a warm, caring smile. She's just the kind of person you'd want your own child to be attended by if he/she/they got sick at school and needed a caring, professional staff person to care for them until you could get there. Ms. Song stays informed (which has been very important to us during the pandemic) and is good at communicating with families and parents. Way to go, Ms. Song!
