LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Jennifer Lucas was nominated by Elizabeth Cross, a member of the community.

Mrs. Lucas has been a teacher at East Side Elementary School for only a few short years after moving from California to be closer to family. She has proven to be an excellent educator in the classroom, but her love and passion doesn't stop there. Mrs. Lucas and her husband have fostered and/or adopted five boys who needed a loving, supportive home. Some of these children were her own students. Her heart for kids and love for them beyond the four walls of a building is truly amazing. She is the definition of a LifeChanger!
