Mary Mendoza Ramirez was nominated by Jeanette Sámano, the parent of one of her students.

Mrs. Mendoza is truly an amazing teacher. She takes the time to teach and mentor each of her students, whether they're in her class, a graduate of her class, or going to be in her class for the new school year. She goes above and beyond for each student. The love and passion for her teaching shows in her character. As a teacher in a low-income community with primarily English language learners, she is patient and understanding.
