Michelle Williamson was nominated by her colleague, Erin Walker.

"Michelle is the teacher who will always have a good idea on how to help you when you come to her," explains Walker. "She has been a teacher for nearly as long as I have been born! When I accepted my first teaching job, Michelle was my mentor teacher.  She was perfect; she didn't babysit me or hand me everything, but she also didn't allow me to struggle. After several years of teaching at different schools, we are currently teaching at the same school again! It is such a joy seeing her kids thriving and enjoying kindergarten. It's a joy to see her thriving and still enjoying kindergarten!"

Michelle is just overall a good teacher. She has stepped into so many roles being an educator- mentor, leader, advocate, friend just to name a few. seeing her in action in whatever position she is asked to be in is amazing! <3

Michelle has the joy and love for teaching. I had the privilege of working in the classroom with her as she did her practice teaching at West Side school in West Point as the teacher assistant under her lead teacher Thea Kay Tribble. So deserving. ??????

Michelle and I taught school together for seven years and she truly loves teaching! She is a joy to teach with, but more importantly is a friend for life. She cares about the children and parents. Congratulations to this well deserving teacher.
