Erica Glennon was nominated by Meg Pierce, a parent of a student.

"Erica goes above and beyond for my kid. As a single mom, I can't always afford gear. There have been days when my son has come home with compression socks to prevent injuries, or even a sweatshirt when he didn't dress warmly enough for practice. Her care for her students and athletes goes above and beyond," said Pierce.

I have Mrs Glennon as a cross country/track coach and also as a friend. She supports everyone and always wants the best for them. I am so grateful for her.

Coach Glennon is deserving of this award and of so much appreciation. She goes above and beyond for students and helps us parents as well. Specifically, she enthusiastically helped my son and I navigate freshman year class selections and patiently answered many questions when when he was entering freshman year at RBV a couple of years ago. I notice her encouragement at practices and track and cross-country meets her where she clearly has made effort to remember the unique talents and challenges of each of her athletes and sincerely helps them remember how far they have come when they get too hard on themselves. She spends so much of her personal time doing extra things to generously include & help so many people. It’s hard to know when she finds what time to do all of this. She makes these efforts in English and in Spanish on campus & off. For many years I have consistently watched her be an inspiration and a true giver. It would be wonderful to witness her being recognized. ~Lisette Hart

I cannot even begin to thank Erica Glennon for all that she has done for both my kids. She has been a great supporter in helping them achieve their running and academic goals. When Joey started running she knew exactly how to push and train so that he could get the results he wanted. She has pushed Alan to be his very best, knowing that Alan didn't like running, now even in the off-season he calls to get his workout advice from coach Glennon. She has also encouraged my kids to look beyond their recreational goals to the more serious ones, such as career fields and college selections. She has helped with rides, referrals to physical therapies, dietary suggestions, warm-ups and even shoes. She has the best interest of the students in mind and always goes above and beyond her call of duty. I am happy to call her a friend.

I had Mrs. Glennon for cross county/track and IB History. She is the best. Always gave me pep talks before track meets and always so caring about everyone.
