LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Joetta Fulgenzi was nominated by Amanda Harris.

"Joetta is a LifeChanger," explains Harris. "She has an impact on every life she touches. Joetta works for five different schools within the consortium and can reach many students. She is knowledgeable and advocates for the rights and understanding that all students of any background or ability level deserve. Joetta never gives up on the students and includes the entire team, students, staff, teachers, and families."  

As a school psychologist, she does a lot of work with qualifying students for education plans, and she ensures their needs are met. In those meetings, she makes connections with those students. When sharing the information with families, she is respectful, kind, and compassionate. She makes sure the whole story is told and maintains positivity as she makes sure all parties are informed of her findings. Her integrity in all of her years has never wavered.

"Idaho has been blessed to have such an impactful educator work with so many families and students over the years," said Harris. "She will be tremendously missed and irreplaceable!"
