"I first encountered her teaching during COVID lockdown, when her math explainers helped me understand what my daughter was learning in first grade. She was my daughter's third grade teacher last year. My daughter was motivated to mimic Mrs. Hein’s lessons at home playing teacher to her preschool-aged sister with our own white board! I could appreciate the clarity of Mrs. H’s presentations because my daughter was almost equally clear while repeating them at home."
