Mrs. Vacca goes above and beyond as an educator at Louis V. Denti Elementary School. Kirk first met her in 2009, when her oldest child was in her class. At the time, she was Kirk's foster child, and she had a variety of challenges. Mrs. Vacca refused to give up on her and went above and beyond what was required to make sure she got her education.
"Since then, I have adopted all four of my foster children, and Mrs. Vacca has taught each of them," Kirk said. "Her dedication to all students is steadfast."
