Mary Ryan was nominated by her colleague, Keith Bellof.

“Mary Ryan is a true LifeChanger,” explains Bellof. “She has devoted the past several years to helping struggling students succeed. Mary has developed a curriculum for her guided study course, 'Stampede,' that focuses on improving executive functioning skills and social-emotional learning. She creates positive, respectful relationships with each of her students that allow her to push each student to achieve more than they believed they normally could. Through the program Ms. Ryan has created, many students who were not on the path to on-time graduation were able to graduate with their peers and move on to their next endeavor with the confidence that they can succeed.”
