Ms. Amy Rothweiler was nominated by Annie Peterson, her colleague.
"There are so many wonderful things that I can say about Amy," said Peterson. "She makes a difference in so many lives on a daily basis."
Ms. Rothweiler is always there to offer support to not only the students, but the staff, her family, and her friends. She strives for excellence in everything that she does. She creates a nurturing atmosphere for everyone in the school.
Magic Valley High School is an alternative high school that has many at-risk students. The students face so many hardships and struggles in their lives, but Ms. Rothweiler is always there for them when they need extra support.
"I have had the opportunity to work with Amy for the past six years and appreciate her so much! Amy is the most deserving person for this award," explains Peterson.
