Music that Describes Emily

Emily Elpers was nominated by her colleague, Abbigail Fitzjarrald Randall.

Mrs. Elpers is absolutely amazing! She goes above and beyond every single day to make sure the students she serves have what they need to be successful in the classroom. She also connects with families to get them the services they need at home, whether it's food deliveries, services for grandparents taking care of grandchildren, and a multitude of other things.

"Emily is so wonderful when dealing with our littles," said Randall. "She treats them with kindness, love, and respect. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to assist any student, even if they aren't on her caseload. She also offers love and guidance to the staff in our building. I can't think of anyone more deserving than Emily for this award!"

There is no one more deserving of this award than Emily. Not only is she a fantastic counselor who goes above and beyond for her students, colleagues and community, she is an amazing mother and wife away from work. She always puts other people’s needs before her own and would give the clothes off her back and the food off her plate to make sure somebody else was warm and fed. She is a true blessing to the Marshall community and they are so lucky to have her!

Emily is the sweetest, you never see her that she is not smiling or willing to help others. Marshall CUSD is honored to have her on their staff
