Becoming an educator was difficult for me at age 43....the vast majority of my colleagues chose the profession before even starting college. The change in thinking was difficult for me (to say the least) but a by product of teaching is that I continue to be surrounded by some of the most amazing people in my community.

Beth, I know I see the humorous side of things often, but there is a serious side of me, too....and that serious part of me is reaching out to say "CONGRATS...WELL DESERVED"! You have influenced me greatly and I know your work has changed the lives of our students.
