LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Veronica Arreola was nominated by an anonymous student.

Ms. Arreola finds a way to touch her students' hearts while lifting their eyesight to see a bigger picture and brighter future they couldn't think was possible.

"Many times, I have sat in her class walking out inspired to do better than I did before, telling myself if she can, I can, too," said the student. "She always strives to do better and work harder than before, and it doesn't go under the radar. My peers, teachers, administrators, and more notice how much of her heart and soul she puts into helping her students reach heights they can't imagine."

She sees her students as young adults who can excel in life. 

"Not only have I seen her as my reading teacher, but I have also seen her as my GT coordinator. It is impressive how she can balance both, letting GT students let their creativity fly while making sure her students are well-educated and ready for what's next. She is the perfect example of a servant leader. Time after time, I see her planning an activity with the teacher spirit committee or organizing pep rallies to get students fired up for what's next," explains the student. 

"I know that Ms. Arreola puts 110% into everything that she does, and I couldn't think of anyone else who deserves the honor of LifeChanger of The Year," explains the student.
