Dominic Patacsil was nominated by an anonymous parent of a student.

Mr. Patacsil is a very devoted teacher to his students.  He not only teaches them to be better at their craft, but instills in them the passion he has for what he does.

"He is the reason his students pursue careers in theater and why our school has a successful theater department," said the parent. "He provides his students with a welcoming space where they all feel special and important.  He provides a place where students are valued for their talents."

Great teacher, I see the changes in my daughter after taking drama with him. I believe teachers like Dominic now how to help the kids use their brain and stretch.

Mr. Patacsil has truly made an impact in my life. From educating me on how to expand my writing in arguments to teaching me how one step in life in trying to fix situations is already a win that needs to be celebrated, he is capable of making impacts with others. He once wrote to me that I had I already won in life. Today, I write that he has indeed won in life with this nomination.
