Erin Fifield was nominated by Savannah Ensminger, the parent of a student.

"Three things that come to mind when describing Erin are that she makes the children around her feel happy, loved, and safe, she always has a smile on her face, and she's so genuine," said the parent. "I have known Erin for about two years. She was in the classroom with my daughter last school year, and this school year, she is in my son Justin's class often. Erin works closely with him as he has moderate/severe conductive hearing loss. My son had trouble adjusting to preschool. Erin went above and beyond, even last second at times to help make Justin's experience a positive one, from the extra hugs and reassurance given to him, to making him a book for him to know what to expect and what comes next in his day, to making him feel special and comfortable. Erin is the most caring and kind soul. If she weren't a part of Justin's preschool experience, we would still have difficulty going to preschool. Erin is excellent, and I genuinely feel that if more people like her were in our children's lives, our children would be more successful and happy!"
